A Family Man

Julie and I have been happily married since June 15, 1968. Julie worked for many years as an administrative assistant in various settings. Currently retired due to a disability, she is a full time home maker, volunteer at her church and great life partner.

Eric teaches English to preschoolers in a private school located in Hiroshima, Japan. He loves living there and is hoping to make his permanent home in the land of the rising sun.
Kim and her husband Dave, live with five cats in East Bethel, VT. Licensed to practice law in the state, Kim is currently a fundraising events coordinator for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth. Dave is a Project Scientist for an Environmental Consulting company. He travels the world doing site chemical studies and assessments.
Nezumi (Japanese for “rat”) joined us in the summer of 2009. A blonde Morkie (Maltese-Yorkshire Terrier mix), she is a bundle of energy and enthusiasm. We call her Zoomi for short.
A year later, Da Shù (Chinese for “rat”) joined the family. This little Shihpoo (Shih Tzu-Poodle mix) is a bundle of puppy energy (a year younger than Nezumi). Just after a haircut, she looks like a miniature panda.
Then in 2009, Eva came to live with us. We’re not sure how long Evan will remain part of our home, but she has certainly bonded well with Nezumi and DaShù. This tiny Chihuahua os even smaller that her sisters. Nevertheless, she holds her own and eggs on the games and the tag and the “come-and-get-me-if-you-can.”
In an effort to keep them apart, Zoomi has become “Blondie”; DaShù, Black and White; and Eva, the “Little One.” All three romp and play and fill our days with joy. We can’t wait until they are fully potty trained.
